Who we are

'Tecnociencia: 30 Scientific Tourism Routes in Chile' is an initiative of the scientific journalist Andrea Obaid, who for more than 10 years has dedicated to disseminating science and technology after completing a Masters in Scientific, Medical and Environmental Communication at the University Pompeu Fabra, Spain. She founded the companies Neurona Group and Endorfinas Producciones. She created and produced the outstanding program 'Tecnociencia' that was broadcast for 3 years in Radio Cooperativa and 5 years ago it is shown on television through at the screens of Channel 13C, which traverses Chile showing patrimonial routes, histories and scientific projects. This project is a documentation of her work recording the country through these routes.

She also developed the environmental education campaign 'Salva la Tierra' with her company Neurona Group, which has visited more than 500 educational establishments and 20 cities in the country with the aim of educating, informing and raising awareness about the importance of environmental care.

This cross-platform project is supported by the Inter-American Development Bank, the National Monuments Council, Marmot and the Copec-UC Foundation. The App and website was developed by the Department of Informatics of the University Federico Santa María Technical.
